We've always been advocactes of remote working and 'Virtual Office' environment, and several of the charities we work with and support operate in this way.

We've been implementing several services over the past 18 months to support this method of working, and can now add Telephone Conferencing to the suite of services available.

If you are only requiring a 3-way call, this may be available directly from the telecom service provider.  There may be a one-off charge, but if you intend to use it regularly there may also be a monthly-charge option for unlimited usage.

Another option for small-scale conference-calling is to use Skype.  Several of our partner organisations are using this for general use, especially as Skype-to-Skyps calls are free.  However, older or slower machines may not support this particularly well.

Our new partnership is with a large internationsl specialist company, and provides fully-feature conference call facilities for more serious and professional usage.  Participants dial in via a freephone number, and can also use a shared online 'whiteboard' or presenter facility at the same time.
